Become a SAR Volunteer

Deschutes County Search and Rescue will be offering a free information presentation in The Collective room at Embark about recruitment to their volunteer academy. SAR is a highly demanding volunteer experience, both in terms of training and actual missions. Volunteers train and participate on teams with expertise in mountain rescue, swift water rescue, backcountry skiing, snowmobile, ATV, tracking, K9 searches, horseback searches, air searches, and wilderness medical treatment. Click here to learn more about this program and Wednesday's presentation.
